I'M ALIVE!! I"M ALIVE!!!!
I survived the surgery. Just between you and me, I was a little scared. I heard the doggy doc tell G-Mom that sometimes there are complications during surgery and some dogs don't make it. I thought to myself "DON'T MAKE IT????? You mean I could DIE??? THEN WHY THE HECK ARE YOU MAKING ME DO THIS??? I CAN LIVE WITH A STONE".
Well....they took me against my will.....forced me to take a nap and cut me open to have my guts
laid out on the cold steel table for anyone to see. The nerve. All this for a stone???? Some humans are nuts.
Anywho....I am still here.
Here are some photos of the before and after. This is before. G-Mom wanted some pictures of me just
in case I kicked the bucket. G-Mom said "smile Rambo". I am not looking at that camera. NOT!
She tried again. I closed my eyes. HA! I am not smiling for that camera. I am not happy.

I'm stuck here on the floor because I can't move very much. It hurts when I move. I need help getting up. Anyone hear me. I said I need help getting up!!

G-Mom gave me some tasty drops now......so I do
alot of this. I feel much better.
Rambo's G-Mom here. Rambo is doing very well considering. They did have to move some stuff out of the way to get to his bladder, cut it open and remove the stone. He is such a trooper. He didn't cry once!! oxoxoxo Rambo

Oh Ram! I'm so sorry you had to get cut apart!! How the heck did you get a stone in your bladder? Weird! It was nice of your G-Mom to hide your junk and give you some dignity! I'm so sorry I didn't stop by your blog sooner. My mom has been VERY wrapped up in Natty's problems. He had a terrible attack on Saturday and Mom thought for sure he was a goner. He's still alive though and my mom is making sure he doesn't go outside to run around. She said it was horrible. I'm sure glad your ok!

Whew...I am so glad you pulled through....It would not be fun to be cut opened and stuff rearranged.
All you can do now is enjoy the nummie "recovery" suppers and treats, and the very important medicine stuff that makes you sleepy. Sweet Dreams Rambo!

I'm soooo glad you got your tummy fixed up. Painful, but probably very necessary. Sometimes our humans have to trust the vets to do their thing. It's just not pleasant for us. I got an idea though: Try showing that scar everytime you want a tummy rub! Bet it works every time!!

Poor Baby!!! (I always have to remind myself to stay calm after a dogs surgery.. I feel so sorry for them I just think in a circle: "omg I need to make the vet give him some painkillers... why did I not insist on it more.. "
