It is a very sad day at my dawg house today. Sam the Ham is gone, for good.
No more running in the grass with my best friend Sam. No more stealing his treats when he's not looking. No more teasing Sam about Green Eggs and Ham. No more Sam. This is the last picture of him at my dawg house, before he went away. Doesn't he look mad?
Where did he go you ask?
G-Mom said he went to the Golden Retrievers retirement home in Temecula. (whatever that means) She said he is going to enjoy the last years of his life. Why couldn't he just stay here G-Mom? I miss Sam and me and MM are sad.

No, Sam just went to a place where he will get more attention and have a better life. He is with a friend of my G-Mom's that loves Golden's. I do miss him alot.

Rambo, I'm sorry that your friend Sam had to go to a retirement home. Hopefully he will be well taken care of. You an MM will be good friends now...at least I hope!

I will miss Sam the Ham and all the cute pictures of the two of you. I can't imagine Ziggy leaving. I cry and cry and cry if he's gone for an hour! I hope you'll be ok and I hope Sam will be too.
