Post Surgery

I'M ALIVE!! I"M ALIVE!!!!

I survived the surgery. Just between you and me, I was a little scared. I heard the doggy doc tell G-Mom that sometimes there are complications during surgery and some dogs don't make it. I thought to myself "DON'T MAKE IT????? You mean I could DIE??? THEN WHY THE HECK ARE YOU MAKING ME DO THIS??? I CAN LIVE WITH A STONE".

Well....they took me against my will.....forced me to take a nap and cut me open to have my guts laid out on the cold steel table for anyone to see. The nerve. All this for a stone???? Some humans are nuts.

Anywho....I am still here.

Here are some photos of the before and after. This is before. G-Mom wanted some pictures of me just in case I kicked the bucket. G-Mom said "smile Rambo". I am not looking at that camera. NOT! She tried again. I closed my eyes. HA! I am not smiling for that camera. I am not happy. Enough already. I am NOT looking. Look at what they did to me. And right near my privates!!! It hurts.......just sayin. I'm not a baby...really.....just sayin. I'm stuck here on the floor because I can't move very much. It hurts when I move. I need help getting up. Anyone hear me. I said I need help getting up!! Hmmmmmm.......is that chicken I smell??? G-Mom gave me some tasty drops now......so I do alot of this. I feel much better. Rambo's G-Mom here. Rambo is doing very well considering. They did have to move some stuff out of the way to get to his bladder, cut it open and remove the stone. He is such a trooper. HI EVERY DOG AND KAT!! It's me....Rambo. I hope you didn't forget about me cause it's been over 30 days since I last said "HI". But it's not my fault. I paw pinky swear. Paws crossed. It's the lazy bum's fault. Yep....that's right. She's a lazy bum and I am sooooooo mad at her right now. Anywho....I finally got the lazy bum to get on the computer I HAVE NEWS!! I have 5 things to tell you.
I got into a fight with my neighbor Zeus. He's a maltese. I know.....what kind of name is Zeus?? Anyway, I was minding my own business, sitting calming in the garage while G-Mom aka lazy bum was de-cluttering her clutter. In a flash, Zeus runs out of his house and towards my house, barking like a wild coyote. Well....I just stopped him in his tracks. I ran out of the garage and towards Zeus and showed him my big fangs. Then we got into a fight. Guess who won?? ME...of course. Zeus went running home like a kitty kat......no offense kitty kats.
A week later I got into another fight. This time with a dog named Tucker, a golden retriever. He lives next door to my other dawg house in Pasadena. I went out back to do my business. That's when I smelled him. He was lounging on the grass in his back yard. I crawled under his fence and showed him my big fangs. He's so silly.....he started wagging his tail like he thought I was going to play with him. Big dummy......I was there to fight! I wanted to show him that I was the new dog on the block. Guess who won that fight? ME....of course.
G-Mom said she saw a reindeer on the road. She said it was sitting right in the middle of the road. I know....I don't believe her either. Next thing she'll be telling me she saw Santa Paws too. I think maybe she's drinking that silly water again.
G-Mom said she saved a cat. She said she went to the bank and while she was at the ATM another car pulled up. It was meowing. Hmmmm......the car was meowing??? Okay, I think somebody added something to G-Mom's silly water. She said that the girl driving the car heard it too. Yeh, right. Anyways... the driver of the car popped the hood and there was a little kitty kat in there. G-Mom saved her. G-Mom told her she should name the kitty Kia...since the car was a Kia. Ha! I still don't know if I believe her.
Last but not least...I have bad news. I need surgery. Yep. I have a stone in my bladder. I have no idea how it got there. I don't remember eating any stones. The doggy doc says it has to come out. Now G-Mom says she needs to plant another money tree cause it's gonna cost 1500 leaves. But I'm worth it, right???

I met her in the Pets Prison. At first I thought she was nice. We talked about things. We talked about life. We had nothing else to do. It was boring as hell in there, ya know? It passed the time. Then she started following me around, sniffing every last place I went. She sat where I sat. Peed where I peed. Ate where I ate. She even tried to follow me to my cell!

I thought maybe Prison was making her a little weird. On the day of my release, we shaked paws goodbye. She gave me a strange look.

The day after I got home, guess who came to my front door? HER!! She comes by every day. Every stinking day, so now I am in hiding. Does anyone know the Dogfather??????????

Name Game Happy 4th!!

Happy 4th of July!! Today we are playing Frankie's Name Game. Me first, Rambo.

My mom Dana wanted a chihuahua, a boy chihuahua. She wanted to name him Miquel. She had this planned for months and was looking around in shelters and in newpapers. One day she stumbled over me, literally. I was born in Chino California on June 5, 2005 in the backyard of her friends neighbor. I was running around with my brothers and sisters and my mom saw me. She said she fell instanly in love with me. Mom said I was the fiestiest of the bunch and changed my name from Miquel (which sounds kinda whimpy to me) to RAMBO, tuff chihuahua. I agreed. As some of you know, I have lived up to my tuff dawg name. When I was one year old, my mom took me to New Jersey on a vacation, and I got lost (long story). I survived for nine days in the woods eating crap off the ground and sips of water from the rain puddles, then my G-Pop and G-Mom found me. So, not only am I one tuff chihuahua, I am a very lucky one!!! So that's my story.

Midget second.

Three years later, my mom Dana got the itch to get a sister for my bro, Rambo. She wanted to name her Cinderella. She began once again to look in shelters and newspapers, and literally stumbled over me too!! I was born in Pomona, California on March 2, 2008 in the backyard of some nasty humans house. My doggy mom was sick and couldn't take care of me and the humans didn't like me, so I was tossed on the street to fend for myself. I didn't want to leave, so I just hung around the neighborhood with my sisters and brothers. One by one, they all died. I was the only one left when my human mom found me. My feet were covered in tar and I was very skinny and dirty. I was covered with fleas. My mom Dana took me home and cleaned me up. She decided that Cinderella wasn't the right name for me. She made a list......Chi Chi, Cha Cha, Lola, Lila, and so on. In the mean time, G-Pop started calling me Midget Molly until the right name was chosen for me.

Well....the humans took so long naming me that I began to recognize Midget Molly as my name, and so the story is told. My name is Midget Molly and I like it.

Ram's G-Mom here. Today's Feather Friday birdie is the House Sparrow. The average House Sparrow is 5 3/4" in length. The male is brown streaked with black above, with gray cheeks, crown, underparts and rump. The female is more uniformly brown, lacking the gray on the rump and crown and the black on the head and throat. These look like male sparrows to me.

The house sparrow is basically a seedeater, but it will eat a wide variety of food, including shoots, flowers and insects. House sparrows often come to feeders, as you can see, and make a good living from food put out for birds in yards and parks. They do eat bread I throw out on the lawn.

In spring, males sparrows will chase each other chirping wildly, and mill about, apparently fighting. The object of the fuss in one female, who fends the suitors off, aided by her chosen mate. The nest may be no more than a lining of feathers brought by both sexes, and is used through the winter. The usual nesting site is a hole or crevice in a building.

Hi Everyone, Yesterday was my fifth birthday. This is how I celebrated my big day. On Friday, G-Mom came home from Costco. I smelled something familiar. Could it be??

Feather Friday Part Six

Today's Feather Friday bird is the Roadrunner.

Here are some cool facts about the Roadrunner. The Roadrunner is the state bird of New Mexico, but are seen in all southwestern states.

The Roadrunner weighs between 8-24 ounces, is 20-24 inches in length, is 10-12 inches tall, and lives 7-8 years.

Roadrunners eats lizards and insects and are fast enough to catch and eat snakes. YIKES!

Roadrunners prefer walking or running over flying and can attain speeds up to 17 mph.

Roadrunners are ground cuckoos, a subfamily of the Cuckoo bird.

Roadrunners have bizzard behavior. Because it it uniquely suited for the desert environment, it can reabsorb water from its feces before excretion. A nasal gland eliminates excess salt, instead of using it's urinary tract like other birds. It reduces it's activity during the heat of the day. Hey...that sounds like Rambo. It's extreme quickness allows it to catch a hummingbird or dragonfly from mid air!!

Feather Friday Part 5

Today's Feather Friday birdie is the Bullock's Oriole. The Bullock's Oriole is 8 1/2 inches tall. In my opinion, one of the most beautiful birds to visit our yard. Males are black above with bright yellow below with a white patch on the wings. The females are more olive above and pale yellow below. The main food of the Oriole is insects, but fruit and nectar are also eaten. In winter, orioles are attracted ro oranges, apples and jelly. In summer, they visit the hummingbird feeders that have perches. They are very hard to capture pictures of. They move very swifly. One is sitting in the eucalyptus tree if you can find him. Their nest is a pouch of plants fibers, hair and plant down bound with spider webs and hungs from the tips of twigs and large trees. Maybe their nest is in the eucalpytus??

The Bullock's Oriole is a close relative of the Baltimore Oriole and sometimes interbreed, but they are distinct species. The Bullock's Oriole migrates to tropical America for the winter.

Today's Feather Friday birdie is the hummingbird. Take it away G-Mom. Thank you Rambo. Yes....today's bird is the beautiful little hummingbird. Here are some interesting facts about the hummingbird.

the hummingbird is the smallest bird and also the smallest of all animals that have a backbone.
they have no sense of smell
because they can rotate their wings in a circle, they are the only bird that can fly forwards, backwards, up, down ,sideways and hover in mid air.
to conserve energy while they sleep or when food is scarce, they can go into a hibernation-like state (torpor) where their metabolic rate is slowed to 1/15th of its normal rate.
during migration, some hummingbirds make a non-stop 500 mile flight over the Gulf of Mexico.
during courtship dives they can reach speeds up to 60 miles per hour and can average speeds of 20 to 30 miles per hour.
they can beat their wings up to 80 times a second during normal flight and up to 200 times per second during a courtship dive.
their heart rate can reach up to 1,260 beats per minute. percentage wise, the hummingbird has the largest brain of all birds (4.2% of its total body weight).
hummingbirds have very weak feet and use them mainly just for perching

There are sixteen different species of hummingbirds in the United States. There are six known to California. They are the rufous, allen's, anna's, costa's, calliope and black-chinned hummingbirds. I believe the birds below are male Anna's hummingbirds because of the green irridescent back and the red gorget. The birds above are female because they don't have the red gorget. Feather Friday Part 3

The third bird in our Feather Friday series is the Black-headed Grosbeak. It is a common and familiar bird of the American West. It can be found in the mountain forests, along desert streams, or in backyards and gardens. In the winter, it flies to Mexico. The Black-headed Grosbeak is a large, stocky finch. The male and female differ greatly in their plumage, with the male being a flashy black, white, and cinnamon, and the female a drab buff and brown. It likes to eat insects,caterpillars,seeds, berries and fruit. It picks at the bread I throw on the lawn, but does not particularly like it. The female Grosbeak lays three to four light blue or green eggs with red brown spots. They are laid in a loosely built stick nest lined with rootlets, grass, and leaves, and built among dense foliage on an outer tree limb. Incubation ranges from 12 to 14 days and is carried out by both parents.

Today's Feather Friday bird is the Western Scrub Jay. The Western Scrub Jay is a permanent resident of the pine forests of the west. It interbreeds with the Blue Jay, where their ranges meet in the Rockies.In winter it moves into more open country and becomes a regular visitor to feeders. This is yet another bird that hangs around our back yard. The Western Scrub Jay is a crestless jay, has a blue head, wings, tail, gray mask, back, pale gray underparts. Dark-streaked, white throat bordered by dark necklace. The bill, legs, feet are black. It eats grains, fruits, insects, frogs, lizards and eggs and young of other birds. It flies with steady wing beats. It is a very pretty bird, but selfish. It does not share the feeder with any other bird. It's harsh shaak scares others away. Suet attracts these jays, but they also eat bread that I throw out on the lawn!

G-Mom has been dying to show you some of the birds in our back yard, so I am introducing Feather Friday, so she can have one day a week to show off her birds. Just ONE day G!! So here goes her first Feather Friday. Today's bird is the California Quail. This is the state bird of California. These birds have a curving crest or plume, made of six feathers, that droops forward: black in males and brown for females; the flanks are brown with white streaks. Males have a dark brown cap and a black face with a brown back, a grey-blue chest and a light brown belly. Females and immature birds are mainly grey-brown with a light colored belly. Their diet consists mainly of seeds and leaves, but they also eat some berries and insects; for example, Toyon berries are a common food source. And as you can see, these birds like bread too. If startled, these birds explode into short rapid flight, called "flushing". Given a choice, they will normally make their escape on foot. Their breeding habitat is shrubby areas and open woodlands in western North America. They live on the hill behind our house. I hope you enjoyed G-Mom's first episode of Feather Friday!!

Happy Sunday everyone! It's me, Midget Molly. I am taking over my lazy brother's blog today, but please don't tell him cause he might get mad at me. I will have to make it short and sweet, cause Rambo is nowhere to be found right now. Here goes! If you remember, the dumb doggie doctor put me on a diet. See how fat I was? G-Mom has been giving me a little less food, and only two cookies per day which is totally unfair! I love my cookies. But it worked and I lost one pound! I have one more pound to go. That dumb doggie doctor is gonna hear it from me next time I see her. Ut oh! I hear paw steps. I think Rambo is coming. Hold on................ Okay. Coast is clear. The other night I went outside to tinkle, and guess who was standing by the fence?? Wiley Coyote! He charged right towards me, and I charged right back. I was nose to nose with Wiley and I barked my loudest and growled my deepest growl and guess what? Wiley ran away. I am so proud of myself. I scared off a coyote. Ut oh! Paw steps again. Rambo is coming downstairs. Gotta go. Caio

BREAKING NEEEWWS! My neighborhood has been invaded.The invasion began last week with a few of them, and then before you know it, there were hundreds of them. Maybe thousands. I call them "The Others". I have no idea what they are, but I believe they are some type of alien animal. They talk, but not the same language as me. Some of them say "Baaaaaa", some of them say "Arrrrrrggg", some of them say "Errrrrr" and some of them even say "Ahhhhhhhhh". Some of them sound like they are crying. Maybe the babies are crying because they want to go back to their homeland. It's very strange. G-Mom tried to upload a video yesterday, so I can show you "The Others", but she says blogger wouldn't cooperate. I think "The Others" mothership is preventing this from happening cause they don't want anyone else to know they are here. Don't ya think?? Well, they don't know how smart my G is! Yesterday was my little sister's birthday. She turned 2 years old. She says she's a big girl now that she is "2". Look at her, she thinks she's a little princess getting all the attention. She sniffed out her birthday cake.

I swear, I heard it with my little pointed ears. She said there was a talking tiger on the television giving some kind of speech! And then guess what else she said?? She said the tiger was really a pig!! What the heck??

Look at us. We're pathetic. Ya know why? Cause we're neglected. That's right. G is too busy to take care of us. Yes, we eat, but she hardly plays with us. Yes, we go for walks, but she is always in a hurry to get home. We don't get to torment all the other dawgs in the hood. Not fair. Can we call DSS?? (dawg social services) and file a complaint. I know this would be considered cruel. I have the proof the we are neglected. Look at my sister's daggers!!! She has nails longer than a cats!! That's pathetic. G doesn't have time to cut Midget's nails. Now that is certainly neglect.

Does any dawg have the phone number for DSS?? Hurry, before my nails get that long.

Hello!! We're here!! Rambo and Midget Molly. Hey.....friends!! We're back...and we didn't fall off the face of the earth. Or disappear into thin air. Or get eaten by Wiley Coyote. We just have a very busy G in our house. Oh, before I forget, we are now referring to G-Mom as G and G-Pop as Poppy. That's what the little human calls them, so we are too. Okay, so let's get back to what's been going on around our dog house for the past three months.

OMD!! Three months!! That's a loooooooonnnnnggggg time. You remember that I was in Scooby's wedding, right? I'm the handsome chi on the left, in case you forgot what I look like.

Here's my beautiful girl Tahlia. She is so hot in red.

Since the beautiful nuptuals between Scooby and Lady,

Midget lost two teeth.

She's still trying to kill lizards. I guess she didn't learn her lesson. I did. I will never kill another bird. I hated Pet's Prison.

G went to New Jersey to party and left us home alone. (well, not all alone, but we were home alone most of the day until Poppy came home)

The passion flowers bloomed.

Hundreds of sheep invaded the hill behind our house. Did you know those suckers make loud noises? BAAAAAAAA.

We tried munching on sticks. We didn't like them very much. We'll let the big dogs have the sticks.

G and Poppy bought a little brown house in Pasadena. We like Pasadena. There are tons of doggies there.

Oh, I think the whole state of California is on fire. There is ash floating in the air and it smells real bad of smoke.

My human Uncle Steve is getting married in Las Vegas on September 12th! This is the bridal shower cake. We didn't get any. How rude!

Last but not least, THE BOOK! G sent it to an editor and he sent it back. G needs to make corrections and changes and then return it to the editor. Dog knows how long that will take!

We hope to stop by and say hi to each and every one of you. WE MISSED U:(

Dear Mango, Chubs and Ximui,

When the mail lady came to our house today, she had a package for Midget ane me. Then G-Mom read the label "to Rambo and Molly, from Mango, Chubs and Ximui!"

I put my nose to the package and sniffed, and I could tell it was from a dog.

Midget saw pink and went WILD! She pulled this bunch of toys out of the box.

And then this big duck popped out of the box. He's bigger than Midget!

Midget tried to bite the duck. The duck was nice and didn't bite back.

Oh boy! I found somethin real good in that box. Food! You know how I love food! Hmmm. Dingo Baked Bones. Never had these. They smell real good. I'm keeping these for myself.

Dear Dobby, I'm not allowed to blog cause G-Mom is hogging the computer. (All I hear is "I have to finish your book Bo) But, I just had to write this letter. The mail lady came with a package yesterday. It was from you to ME!! I was very surprised. I could tell it was from a dog cause I have a good nose. Then G-Mom told me it was from Dobby.

G-Mom helped me open the package and this stuffie popped out!

It smells good.

And then some bath toys popped out. I don't have any bath toys. I don't really like to take a bath, but Now maybe I will cause I have something to distract me from the water torture.

It's been very boring around here since we got home. After all the excitement in the slammer and being on the run, me and Midget decided to chill. We haven't even chased any birds or lizards. I think we've learned our lesson! G-Mom hasn't gone anywhere either, but she's working very hard on my book. She took some time off on Sunday to give us a b--h. You know I can't even say the word! It's water torture. Then we watched basketball. Her team won the NBA championship. Yeh Lakers! I even watched the game and you know how much I hate sports.

And, I got a birthday present from my girl, but blogger was not cooperating, so I had to put my video on You Tube. Tahlia, I hope you can watch the video! Thank you for the birthday present. Pee ess...I gave you a kiss on the video.

When The Dog's Away...The Human's Play

Hey Everyone! Me and Midget are HOME!! Yep! We found our way home after we scaped from the slammer. We are now on the "MOST WANTED" list, so please don't tell anyone where we are, okay?

Let me tell you a little story. The day after G-Mom and G-Pop's left for their trip to New Jersey, Midget and I were arrested. The animal police accused Midget of lizardslaughter and me of birdslaughter and threw us in the Pets Prison. We told them we were innocent, but they said they had hard evidence against us. They didn't even allow us to make one phone call!! So we were stuck in the slammer and we barked all night long to drive the humans crazy.

G-Mom and G-Pop were having a good time in New Jersey. They went to a family reunion. They also went to Elmer Road in Vineland, the place where I was once lost. May 27th was the third anniversary of when I went missing.

Here's my "Lost Chihuahua" poster. The concrete plant where I hung out.The house I ran away from.And the farm field I wandered in.Here are the traps they used to try and catch me.Me sniffing the trap I was caught in. MMMMMMM...it still smells like Burger King triple whopper. This brings back memories. While the grand-humans were drinking homemade wine and eating cheese steaks and Tasty Kakes, Midget and I scaped from that nasty prison and were on the run. They still didn't know what had happened to Midget and me. From New Jersey, G-Pop went home and G-Mom went to Lost Wages. Midget and I were on the run fighting for our lives.I'm ashamed to say...while we were dying of hunger and thirst, G-Mom lounged by the pool...and hung out with cousin Pedro's Mom and JB's Mom. I can't believe my eyes. Mom and Leah too??? This makes me so mad.Look at them all smiley while me and Midget are in such termoil. MOM??? Alysha too???? Oh Mom.....how could you?? Hey, is that silly water?? Mom....you have some splaining to do.Clueless to what these two are up to...but they are having too much fun. I am soooooooooooooo MAD!!!! (and I am going to tell my cousin Pedro on you)Midget and I ran all the way home to Chino Hills. It took us four days to get there and we were dehydrated and starving, but we made it home just in time for my 4th birthday!! I got a cheese burger. Yummy. Have you ever tasted prison food? It's yuck in a bowl. Eyeing it up.The sweet smell of meat.I ate it so fast I almost choked. I got a yummy cake.We lit the candles to sing Happy Barkday to me!Not too close G-Mom. Our eyelashes will burn.We all blew out the candles. I cut my cake.Hmm. Somethings wrong. I didn't feel like eating my cake.Midget took a teeny weeny lick.......that's strange.

Ut Oh! The next day I woke up and I was sick. I must have caught something at the Pets Prison.

Now I have to take an antibiotic.

Do I have too???

Not so bad. Now Midget's sick too.

To finish my story, Midget did kill Lenny Lizard, but she claims she went temporarily insane cause Lenny was driving her crazy. As for me, I did kill Spunky Sparrow but it wasn't intentional. Spunky fell out of the plant and landed on the ground right next to me. He started hopping around like a chicken with out and head and I went over to help him and he tried to bite me. I killed Spunky in self defense. G-Mom told us that we have to do animality service for ten days to make it up to the lizard and bird communites. We're sorry Lenny and Spunky. Rest in peace. Now all I do is lay around and hug my little heart bear and think of my girl Tahlia. I haven't spoken to her in two weeks. I miss her. Oh Midget. Did you have to steal my most precious bear??? Can a dog catch a break around here!?????

Goodmorning Chino Hills. This is K.D.O.G. News with a breaking story. We have just learned that the two chihuahua's that were arrested on May 20, 2009 Rambo and Midget Molly have escaped from Pets Prison early this morning.

They were caught on video during their escape. It appears they have jumped the six foot fence of the Pets Prison and are now roaming the hills looking for a safe place to hide.

Rambo and Midget Molly were arrrested on the evening of May 20th for participating in suspicious activites. We received information from Pets Prison that Rambo was being held for birdslaughter and Midget Molly was being detained for lizardslaughter. You heard me right! These two chihuahua's are dangerous!

The Pets Prison has sent us these photos related to the crimes.

Rambo and Midget Molly, two chihuahuas from Chino Hills have been arrested and are being detained at the Pet's Prison in Walnut California. We cannot confirm at this time why they were arrested, but a spokesperson from the prison said that they are being held for taking part in suspicious activites. The Pet Prison has released these mug shots.

Hi Mom & G-Mom! After a furry long flight, we arrived safely. Anyways...the story is....Rambo is not here because he went to Western Australia for his girlfriends birthday party. You all know Tahlia, Suzuki's sister. Well, that's his girlfriend! Can you believe he has a girlfriend?? After all these years of being a bachelor. He went out on one date and now they are a couple. Talk about moving fast. He must really like her!!

G-Mom drove Rambo to the airport cause Scruff picked him up in a private jet. Scruff must have some money to have his own jet! I hope Rambo has fun. I don't miss him cause I'm getting all the attention, he he he. (see Ram in the last seat?)

Guess what? I almost caught another lizard. It slipped out of my mouth, but I got the tail. See?

It ran away without a tail. Rambo would be so proud.

As most of you know, I haven't had much luck in the LOVE department. I'm almost four years old and have never been on a date. I guess it's because I'm sort of shy, even though I might come across as a tuff guy. Being around girls make me nervous, that's for sure. Once, I hinted around to sweet Lorenza that I thought she was cute. And to Khyra too. I told her she had beautiful eyes.

I even wrote a letter to Cha Cha Walters.I told her she was the most beautiful dog I had ever seen. But I got no reply. What's wrong with me, I wondered. I'm not a bad looking dog. Maybe I am just not meant to be lucky in LOVE.

Until today! I went on a date yesterday with a beautiful girl. Her name is Tahlia. Most of you already know her. She's Suzuki's sister.She flew all the way from Australia just to be with me. Tell me that's not lucky.

Then we ate chicken dinner. She loves to eat too. Tell me that's not lucky too!

Then we sunbathed in the nude. She loves sunbathing too. Now tell me that's not LUCKY!

I think my lucks starting to change! Finally.

Wednesday Pickle

Hi Everyone. It's me.....Midget Molly. I'm in a little bit of a pickle and I'll tell you why.

Well, this morning I was enjoying a crispy CheeZ-It...

and doing some sniffing around...

and Rambo was doing some birdie watching.

You know how G-Mom like to feed the birdies.

Anyhow....do you see that little dove sitting alone at the bottom of the feeder on the right?

You will never believe what happened to him! All of a sudden we heard a loud "BOOM" and ran outside to investigate.

Kerplunk! This is what we found.

We watched that poor little dove take it's last breath. OMD! I was horrified!

G-Mom put it in a plastic bag.

Here it sits on top of the A/C unit. If you look close you can see it's eye! Ewwww. Creepy.

This is what happened. Apparently, this guy has been swooping down at the birds on the feeders trying to get his next meal. G-Mom has seen it with her own eyes. Why didn't that big hawk pick on that nasty sneaky squirrel that steals the birdies food. Look, Mr. Hawk.......he's sitting right there waiting for you!

So, THIS IS MY PICKLE!

1. Do I make G-Pop bury the dove and give it a proper funeral??

2. Do I have G-Pop throw the dove over the hill and feed it to the hawk??

Rambo says it's only natural for Mr. Hawk to eat other birdies. I say why should I give that big hawk anything when it once tried to attack me. I'm not being selfish!

I Kissed a Lizard and I Liked It!

Hi Everyone! It's me, Midget Molly. Yesterday I had the most exciting day and I just have to tell you all about it. Well......... me and Rambo went outside to hunt for buggies. (they are really called lizards, but we call them buggies) That's me...hunting in the planters. Still hunting! Then guess what happened next?? The old lady's camera went DEAD! And just when I was about to catch my first buggie. When she ran in to get new batteries, I caught that slimy little buggie and was carrying it around in my mouth (I was so proud of myself) and then old lady came outside and started to scream. She yelled at me "Put that buggie down Midget." So, I had to put the buggie down and I didn't even get to play with it. Ut Oh! I think I killed the buggie. G-Mom was sad.

Num Yummy!!That buggie was faking. He turned over and ran away! No kidding.

G-Mom got happy again. And the humans laughed at me when I chased the lazer beam. It perfected my hunting skills! Next time I'm going for a bird! Midget peee esss. I didn't get to play with the buggie, but I kissed it and I liked it!

Hi Everyone! I know this blog is supposed to be ALL about little ole me, the tuff little chi, but today I want to share a little story about the old lady, my G! (I told you I was a poet) Anyway, I am very proud of her. Wanna know why?

The story begins in 2005, when I was a little pupster, only 3 months old. I was too young to know what was happening and have since then learned what it was.

One afternoon in late September 2005, G-Mom and my Mom were driving from the mall. My Mom received a cell phone call from one of her friends. (it sounds confusing, but for those of you who don't know, G-Mom is my Nona and my Mom is my mom and we all live in the same dog house. G-Mom is my personal assistant and tends to my blog) Anyway, back to the phone call. My Mom gets this call from one of her friends, and her friend is hysterical and crying. Her friend had just found out that her sister was being molested by their step-father. She confesses to my Mom that she has been molested too. Now, G-Mom with her wolf size ears and being the big snoop that she is, overhears this conversation and asks WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???

Lo and behold, these two young girls claim to have been sexually abused by their stepfather over the past four years!

So......G-Mom with the big mouth that she has.....(you know she likes to talk, which sometimes gets her into trouble)......runs over to the neighbors house and reports her suspicions to her friend, who happens to be a Deputy Sheriff for the county. Sneaky old lady! And she thought she was done with that. Well, fifteen minutes later two police officers appear at our house. I was shaking in my boots, cause I thought they were gonna arrrest G or take me back to the streets of Chino. They asked her some questions and off they went.

Fast forward. In 2008, G-Mom and my Mom testified for the prosecution in the case, Jane Doe #1 and Jane Doe #2 versus Mr. Child Molester. Two months later: HUNG JURY! Everyone, including my G, was so upset. The defense attorney convinced some stupid human on the jury that the Doe's were lying. What a human fool. However, Mr. Child Molester could be re-tried.

In January of this year, G-Mom and my Mom re-testified for the prosecution in the case of Jane Doe #1 and Jane Doe #2 versus Mr. Child Molester. Two months later: GUILTY!!

Everyone was so happy, certainly my G! For once in her life, G-Mom's big mouth didn't her into trouble, it got someone out. Mr. Child Molester, aka Situation Child Molester was found guilty of Continuous Sexually Molestation of a child under the age of fourteen. That's one sick human being.

We love our G, big ears, eyes, mouth and all!

Well.........Rambo forgot to tell you something, the bonehead. I think he just wants all the attention. Anyhoo, Tuesday was my FIRST birthday! Yes...I am ONE year old already! Here's a picture of me and my birthday hat. Aren't I a perty girl?? (and no, I have not been drinking the silly water. I always look like that.....my eyes are sensitive to bright light)

Pedro's Rock.

Sunday we went to Chino Hills State Park. We have never been there before. In fact, we have never ever been to a park before. It was so much fun! We went because Cousin Pedro needs a rock for his table. We will do anything for cousin Pedro. Here we are getting ready to leave. We didn't have our car seat cause the Volvo is in the shop, so we had to sit on G-Mom's lap. G-Pop drove very slow just in case. Here I am, the co-pilot. I make sure G-Pop doesn't drive too fast.

We arrive at Chino Hills State Park.

I found a rock, but I don't like this one. It's an ugly rock.

Midget found an ugly rock too. Blah!

Looking for a good rock.

This is the view behind us. Look how high we are.

Last year, 90% of the park burnt down. This is one of the trees. Poor tree.

Lucky - Part 2

It's me... Midget Molly again. Sorry it took me so long to get back to my story about Lucky, but after eating pancakes and sausages on Sunday, I slept most of the day on Monday. I just couldn't move off the couch!

Anyways...for a little recap about what happened to Lucky, read my previous post! Oh, did I mention how good those sausages were? Yummmmmilicious. They were turkey sausage so I don't have to count my calories today.

(Rambo shouts) "Midget..........shut up!! Just tell them the dang story you blabber gabber."

Sorry, I do have a tendency to gab and get off subject. Anyways, Lucky's Mom was at her wits end for sure. So one day, she brought her to a special place. It's called a Shrine. Have you ever heard of it? This is what it looks like. It's called the St. Padre Pio Shrine and it's in a little town called Landisville, New Jersey. It was built in honor of Padre Pio who was the first priest in the history of the church to receive the stigmata. So, Lucky's Mom brought Lucky there to ask Padre Pio for help. She put Lucky on the altar and started to pray, and cry and pray. She begged Padre Pio to help Lucky walk again. The other humans there prayed for Lucky too. Then she and Lucky went home. The next day is when the miracle happened. Lucky moved!! All by herself. Lucky's Mom saw Lucky trying to walk. Her Mom didn't believe her eyes, so she gave Lucky a test and put her back where she was. Sure enough, Lucky moved again. Isn't it exciting?? To think that one day you can't walk and then the next day you can?? OMD, I wonder how.....

(Rambo shouts) "Midget, just finish the story. The other dogs don't care what you think."

Sorry again. I am just so excited that Lucky can walk. Anyways, it took some time but Lucky is now walking on her own. What do you think of that?? Do you think it's just a coincidence, or do you think that Padre Pio answered her prayers? Was it a miracle? Peace out, Midget

(Midget's G-Mom here) Lucky lives with my cousin Colleen in Vineland, New Jersey and Midget didn't make this story up. This is a true story. The shrine to St. Padre Pio is built on a little piece of farm land that used to belong to my Grandfather, Frank Dandrea. My uncle and aunt, Peter and Marie Dandrea built the shrine in honor of the saint. It's a very intersting story and you can read all about the history on the Shrine website.

Pawsome Friends and a Lucky Cousin

Hi everyone. It's me Midget Molly. I am taking over for today cause Rambo is being a butt-head. He is too embarassed to show you our Valentine cards and is right now hiding under the covers in the big bed. He says Valentine's day is for girls. What a silly dog my brother is! These are from our pawsome friends: Aki and Poopie. Addie and Lucie.

We also got this friendship award from our new friend Mona. She's a wirehaired dachshund who lives in Texas with her mommy. She's a very pawsome, sweet girl and we're glad to be her friends.

Just one more thing. I know I am getting a little gabby, but, you know us girls just love to chit chat and gossip and blab about anything. This will only take a minute. I have to tell you about my cousin Lucky. She's a jack russell terrier and lives in New Jersey. I have never met her. This is a Christmas picture of her and her sisters. Can you see her over there on the left??

Well.....she was hit by a car. Guess what? TWO times! And she didn't get invited to the Bridge! Can you believe it? This last time she had two broken legs and went to physical therapy and water therapy for a long time. She was told she would never walk on her own, so her humans bought her one of those wheelie thingies so she could get around. Her humans were so upset, but didn't give up hope. They continued to take Lucky to therapy even after spending 7000 dollars. You know how many beggin strips you can get for 7000 dollars? Whew!

You will never believe what happened next! It's a true MIRACLE!!!!

Ut oh! G-Mom is calling me. It's time for breakfast. She is making pancakes and bacon.....I can smell it. Yummy. I just have to go and get me some of that bacon but I will be.........
